Best for: Vibrant, realistic colours, Diode-laser compatible
Considerations: Textured surface is visible after sublimation

TruFlat® Maple

Best for: Rustic Results, Diode Laser Compatible
Considerations: Visible Texture,

Sublimation Acrylic

Best for: Realistic Colours, Very bright images, clear displays, no need to mirror image
Considerations: More expensive than regular cast acrylics

Clear Acrylic

Best for: Transparent layers, over coloured layers
Considerations: Sublimation inks are transparent and almost invisible by themselves, colours are slightly darker than real

White Acrylic

Best for: Simple forms and dark inks
Considerations: Colours are darker than real; the sublimation quality is not the highest
